Go to the top of a cliff
Pick up a stone, outstretched arms
Release the stone.
Without permission from you,
The stone heads towards the ground
A greater force permits it.
Oh ye wise!
Look at the force,
What color is it? Red or blue?
How tall is it? 14ft or 4″
Oh, you can’t see it? Nor describe it?
But you know it exists.
Gravity exists but you don’t see it
Yet you believe it
You don’t see God physically
So you don’t believe He is
You’re wise in your eyes
Foolish in your thoughts
The stone didn’t need your permission
To obey the law of gravity
So is your opinion useless
To prove the God almighty
There’s a greater force to reckon with
We obey the law of the Spirit
Hey peeps, it’s amazing how this is the third time I’m posting something today.. lol..
I decided to view my blog as my amebo (gossip) partner… So I’m in the car, on my way to church right now and i just heard a program invitation played on radio… After the program was introduced and invitations given, the next thing I heard was “come and you stand an opportunity of meeting your prospective spouses…”.. Uuhhm what??? Seriously??
I refuse to believe that the church in my part of the world would choose meeting prospective spouses over a believers meeting to share the word. It’s unfortunate that meeting a spouse in a believers meeting has to be used as a tool to lure believers to come to church. I don’t know what vexes me more;
The fact that believers in my side of the world are so marriage pressured that it would actuality work as a tool to get them to do almost anything, or
The fact that church organizations chose to take advantage of the pressure to lure ignorant believers to their meetings..
This is quite amusing but not really funny.. Most times I wonder how this particular generation of believers are going to cope when real issues of life besides marriage sets in.. After they get their spouses, does that mean they would no longer attend believers meetings? I wonder.

Hello fam!! So a couple of days ago, I saw a movie and a question was asked in one of the scenes which i found quite interesting. So I’m throwing this question to ya’ll;Assuming you are in a room with ten people who are asleep and you kinda know that there’s no getting out of that room alive for anyone of you. Do you wake the other ten up to at least try to fight for their lives or you let them just sleep to death?? I’m looking forward to your responses please…*smiles.
Good day to everyone. As believers, I believe we get so caught up in our desires to live the kind of life God expects us to live that we sometimes forget that it is God who works in, through and for us. Sometimes we are overwhelmed by the Holiness who is God that we try to only bring our good parts and thoughts before God in prayers. Now I’m not saying this is wrong but then I had an experience a few weeks back that sort of just changed my orientation about a couple of things.
So if you’ve been reading my other blog posts, you know that I’m a grace- chic. You know, saved by grace and completed
Good evening peeps!!! this is something I’ve been pondering on for a while and I’d quickly share it here..
I picked up my pen and scribbled some things onto the jotting pad I use for my histology practical (I’m a medical laboratory scientist in the making by the way) and I let my mind ruminate over what my lecturer was talking about. I knew I was drifting away from the lecture but the events going on in my mind were too interesting to sacrifice. I let myself get involved and just enjoy the beauty of the network that is man. So far in class, we had studied quite a number of the systems in the body and it’s so amazing to realize that even though each system exists
I close my eyes as I lay down and let myself be transported
On the wheels of nature
Taking a deep breath, I inhale the rich scent of the raw earth
Letting the coolness of the evening dew mist over my face.
I listen to the rustling of the leaves above and the chirping of the birds in the trees
Slowly I open my eyes to behold the wonders of the night sky
Stars so bright –oh how they twinkle
Scattered yet arranged in an orderly fashion
A bright perfect crescent, warmly illuminating the earth
Casting beautiful shadows over the earth
Somewhere distant, I hear the trickling of water along a path I assume
I shiver as the night cold seeps into my skin, a smile forming on my face as I wonder and ask-
Question why I never saw this –the perfect beauty of nature
Surely, it must be visible, yet hidden to many who expect such beauty to come with a price tag
Forgetting, like I almost did, that the best things in life are free……
Hello peeps!!!! It’s been a long time I know, and it saddens my heart. I would like to take all the blame but it totally isn’t my fault that I have the LAHS. I know you are probably wondering what sort of syndrome that is; well LAHS is an acronym for Continue reading “SEMI-COLOUR BLINDNESS IN AN AVERAGE NIGERIAN”
I watched in silence sitting under a tree, at a group of friends discussing about life and its stress. A guy was trying to make his friends believe in the existence of a life without the stress of survival. His points were quite arguable and his friends argued the impossibility of his belief as expected. Now, still sitting under the same tree, the group of friends long gone, I can’t help but wonder if a life like that actually exists. I mean, right from you first cry to your final breath, you try to satisfy your insatiable wants; insatiable the key word here. as a baby, you’re hungry, sleepy; as a young adult, you’re trying to study hard to create a career and future for yourself; as an adult, you’re trying to keep food on the table and be successful; even as an aging person, you’re trying hard prolong your life span, reduce aging and enjoy the fruits of your labor. so basically, all through the stages of your life, you’re trying to satisfy one need or the other while also keeping your Christian faith- which also takes energy and time, strong. Stress is inevitable. period.
So I’m still here, sitting under the same tree, thinking about the same thing, and I still don’t have an answer. I’m pretty sure a life like that is non-existent but then, I can’t be too sure because you never can tell the next person that would come out saying he’s been sleeping all through the sixty-five or seventy-five years of his life!!! lol
