DailyPearls 29/6/17: SALVATION: JUSTIFICATION ET RIGHTEOUSNESS

Good evening family…how did our day go? I’ve come to notice that I really enjoy writing DailyPearls in the evening. I feel I’m calmer and more collected because I would have done majority of my chores; so I’m indirectly apologizing for the late posts (I’ve had a couple of friends ask me about this). So we have been treating a Topic for a while tagged SALVATION and we’ve had about five installments on it. Today we are going to be talking briefly about JUSTIFICATION ET RIGHTEOUSNESS and I would be linking you to a past dailypearls post at the end of this post on FORGIVENESS OF SINS AND REDEMPTION. You can read it up as it’s one of the free gifts that comes with the package of Salvation that we have received. Straight to it;

First we have to understand that everything God has done for us in Christ can only be received through Faith. Believing that He did it for you, accepting it and confessing it. Salvation as a total package is given by grace, and received through faith.

Eph 2:8

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:KJV

John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.KJV

Rom 10:9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.KJV

So the access to these gifts is simply through faith. I also have a blog post on receiving here: RECEIVING: FAITH ALONE  and you should read it if you haven’t already.

To the topic of today, what does it mean to be justified? It simply means to be declared right.

Now, we talked about the sacrifice and exchange yesterday and if we understood that, we know that through Jesus’ death on the cross; through His blood that was shed, and the exchange, we are now sinless because we don’t have the nature of sin in our spirit anymore. So through Jesus’ blood, we are made righteous and can stand before God- Justified; declared right.

2 Cor 5:21

21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.KJV

Rom 5:1

5 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:KJV

Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.KJV

Jesus has paid for our sins and we are now cleansed so there is no longer any charge against us spiritually before God. That’s why we can say;

Rom 8:1

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.KJV

Rom 8:2

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.KJV

There is NO CONDEMNATION… because we are in Christ. Glory!!!!! So yeah, basically that’s it. We’ve been justified and made righteous in Christ. Here’s the link to the  THE GIFTS OF SALVATION: ETERNAL REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS post. You can read it after this. Remember, everything is received by GRACE through FAITH.… remain blessed! Shalom.

Father we thank You for the great love You have lavished upon us in Christ. Help us to walk in this reality. Amen.

So peeps tomorrow we would be rounding off the series with the topic “YOU’RE A SON, SO WHAT?” you’re welcome to join in. Don’t forget to subscribe via mail, like, share and comment in the boxes below. Have a lovely night rest. I love you.
