DailyPearls 10/6/17: SALT AND GRACE

Good morning family!!!!! It’s a bright Saturday morning out here and I believe our day started on a good note too. This morning’s pearl is going to be a very short one and we are going to be talking about our conversations with people.

Ever been in a situation where you’re having a conversation with somebody and the person’s way of responding gets you wondering, is he sane or is he not? Is he saved or is he not? Most times situations like that tend to create wrong impressions of people in our minds.  Let’s take a quick look at scripture. Paul says;

Col 4:6

6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.KJV

We are to always talk with grace. Make comments that would bless others and not just talk rashly. Jesus who is our perfect example never used crude words. It was never recorded of him using swear words. Let every word that comes out of our mouths be a blessing to others, let it edify them.

Eph 4:29

29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.KJV

We need to learn to bridle our tongues so that corrupt words would not come out of them. We are Christ’s and we follow his example. Every word we speak to people should prove this.

Father we pray that we receive grace to bridle our tongue and that every conversation we have with people would be with grace and people be blessed. Amen.

Have a beautiful day ahead peeps! I love you and there’s nothing you can do about that.
