MIRROR MIRROR ON THE WALL

Mirror Mirror on the wall,

What’s your image of me called?

‘Cause through my broken lens of pain

I see a wreck without a name

I see the oh so silent thoughts

Begging to be heard as words

A hurt lonely heart in its station

Helpless to its reckless palpitations

I see shoulders slumped in defeat

Overcome by the weight of helplessness it seats

I see imperfection

Yet I see eyes with a vision

A lonesome but sure mission

A journey filled with intersections

A definite success by divination

I see a girl

Mirror Mirror on the wall,

What’s your image of me called?

‘Cause when I look at you

I see through me

Pearl

Khariespearl is a fun loving Godgirl, writer, and aspiring novelist. when she's not teaching or writing, she's probably reading, singing or hanging out with friends; she's a terrible dancer, so she would probably fall in love with you if you're a great dancer.. xoxo
